Dang, you guys have been busy!  Lots of pages to go through!  lol.

Bandito's mom, congratulations on your son's graduation.  You've been with us at the Nuke Moms group for so long, I forgot yours is just about to join SC.  Are you going to PIR?  If you do, have a good time!  I am counting the days till mine comes home for the holiday break!

Bandito's Mom, yes it is in Van Nuys.

MomofNuke,  The assembly day that is being talked of is with "Operation Gratitude", helping to pack packages to be sent over seas.

Have to work Nov 25, and Dec 5.  Probably in Fiji Dec 7.

What is an assembly day?  I might be able to make it depending on when it is.  I'm leaving to see my SR graduate for Nuke Power School Nov. 23 & will be gone until Dec. 25 (he is in South Carolina, moving to NY for the final school before being assigned to a ship & I'm taking the train) helping him move & taking my vacation at the same time.

DevilDocMom, Did you go to Van Nuys High? April Whitney was in my graduating class from VNH.  A volunteer mini  meet & greet sounds great.  I am getting ready to leave tomorrow to go up to Sacramento for 10 days, don't how much time I will have to get on a computer.

DeviL Doc Mom - NO wayyy! "Way" Shaa...(okay taking you into the early nineties!) Too cool for school! KROQ! Love it! Love the 80's!

Hubby and I went to soooo many Oingo Boingo concerts! They were wild! He's crowd surfing, giant beach balls, blow up Godzillas! They were originally called "The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo"...

...having a FUN nostalgia time with you all!

'Member when radio stations used to have the marathons on the radio in the summer and they would print in the paper ALL the songs with the artists names by it? They almost always announced the artist with each song back then too. Too much fun! Beach Boys in the Summer...the best!

Operation Gratitude sounds great! Will have to check it out.

I wonder if the bases are serving Turkey dinner to the guys that have to stay for Thanksgiving? We went out to hubby's base one Thanksgiving and served dinner...it was a great family thing to do. The boys were little and still remember it.

For your viewing pleasure, you Boingos! Grey Matter with the balaphones...One I always remember):
