FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

If you enjoy Baseball, The San Diego Padres are having a Navy Appreciation Day on Sunday, June 3rd game start time is 3:35 PM at Petco Park.

Ahhhh. So sorry you guys. Can't make the next meet n greet. I have a wedding. So much to share. The Tiger Cruise aboard the CVN 74 was awesome. An experience of MY Lifetime. Lots of stories. Hope everyone is great. Hope to make the next one. Enjoy!

Yes, it does look like Damons wins.  I need a volunteer to help set this up.  They need to ensure that they have space and will reserve a table for us.  I would guess a maximum of 10 people.  Be willing to arrive early. --- Double check with the restaurant that 2pm is a good time, before we send the official invite. 

I will be coming from the store in Venice Beach, so won't be able to be the "table holder".  Please let me know who can do this for us.

Banditos Mom - When you decide on a place (it's looking like Damons :-) ), will you be creating an "Event"? If you do let me know, and I will post a link up in the Text Box area...with some kind of sign or do-dad!

I don't know if I'll be making this one either! :-(...have a family commitment but we'll see if it is going through.
