Damon's is my vote also.
I vote for Damon's!
Okay, it is official time to get our act together for the April Meet & Greet. (I had a nap today, I can actually think!)
28Apr about 2pm-ish
I am assuming that everyone who listed where they live are contemplating coming to the M&G. So, I plugged in all the places to Google Maps and boggled my mind. Probably L.A. or Hollywood would be more central than Culver City.
Here are the nominations so far
Barragans - Echo Park, Downtown LA
Damon's - Glendale
Proud Bird - LAX
California Pizza Kitchen - Culver City
Any nominations? Any votes? Would you be more inclined to show if it was one location over another?
I have added a Discussion above. Please add a general area where you live. To make it easy to read and navigate, would like only where you live information in the Discussion. We can add our thoughts of where we want the meeting, etc., to the comments still. Thanks,
Ladies? Will take suggestions until the end of March and then decide. Remember, we are a diverse group and come from many directions. Should be Freeway close. No too loud, have room for up to 20 people (hoping we get that many) and serve some food. If no other place is better, we will default back to CPK in Culver City.
I am excited about the meet & greet, has a location been determined?
Time to start marking everyone's Calendars.... April 28 for the next Meet & Greet
Elizabeth, I am so glad that you know and love your new daughter-in-law. I had all kinds of crazy images in my head. Enjoy taking the time shopping for the right dress for Vegas (and the other clothes you will be able to justify).
Hello Everyone. Just got back late last night from Sacramento. I now have a new daughter-in-law that we love. They got married in Auburn having a civil service, it was very sweet and short with ten people in attendance. They are planning a renewal of vows for next March 2nd in Las Vegas that all friends and family can attend. They have known each other for 8 years, but didn't start seeing each other until last April just before he left for bootcamp, they saw each other a couple times why he was at A school n San Antonio, but broke up in mid October. They started talking again in mid January, spent 4 days together over Valentines weekend and now are married. She won't be moving to San Diego with him until July. Judy I only had 1 1/2 hours to shop and find a dress, I had my grand kids staying with me for two weeks which was planned before I found out they were getting married. Well, I have 11 months to find a dress for next years wedding in LV.
BQB, good luck to your son adjusting back to civilian life.
Welcome Cheri, my youngest daughter lives downtown a block from Staples Center.
