BunkerQB, we will miss you in all sorts of places on N4M.  Thank you for your service here.  We really appreciate you.

As to doing nothing for the wedding, you do have to use it as an excuse to shop for dresses.  And then there is the Rehearsal dinner, are you putting that on?

JAs Mom, congratulations on your son's engagement too.... is it spring or something?

Welcome aboard Cheri, we have a Meet & Greet planned for April 28 in Culver City, please mark it on your calendar

Wow elizabeth!!!!! Details please.  Getting married in San Diego or L.A.? How did they meet, I am thinking not long ago?  Have you gone shopping for a dress?  I did most of my Mom-of-the-Groom shopping online.  Ordered about half a dozen and finally found the right one.  I am sending Hugs your way.

Good evening ladies,

I am signing off from the group. My son's commitment to the Navy ended last week. He decided not to re up and is going back to the civilian world. I will be transitioning to a more supportive role on this site. If you need me, find me in the San Francisco Bay Area Navy Families Group.

Fair Winds and Following Seas.

Regards, BunkerQB.

elizabeth, congratulations on your son getting married even with the short notice.  my son got engaged on Valentine's Day.  he's in San Antonio right now and said they would wait to plan a wedding until after he finishes all his training.  But who knows what will actually happen.

Congrats on your son getting married on Friday. I am rather surprised you are still acting and sounding sane.

My son is getting married in July. I am not doing any organizing so I don't have to think about it otherwise............

Our board has been very quite.  My sailor is getting married this Friday, with only 10 days notice.

Wow, thank you so much.  I thought it was because I had finally upgraded by browser.  Been cursing that decision ever since.  Much better without the chat.  You are a wealth of info!

IF THIS SITE IS RUNNING SLOW OR FREEZES UP, check to see if you are connected on CHAT.

Disconnecting from CHAT will solve the problem.  When you first log on to Navy 4 Moms, look at the bottom right of your screen. You'll see either a red dot or a green dot. A green dot mean you are connected on CHAT, a red dot mean you are not. You should surf the N4M site after you DISCONNECT on CHAT. So if you see the green light, click on it (you'll see a "connected to chat" with a check in front of the words. Place you mouse over the "check" symbol and click. The red dot should appear. I go through my whole session disconnected from chat. At the end if I have time, I go into chat for awhile. But I always make sure I am disconnected before I log out of Navy 4 Moms; otherwise, the upload will take forever when you log on the next time.
