We had missed the beaches down here, and all the traffic, just kidding just the beaches.  I am going up north next week for 9 days.

We lived in Citrus Heights!  Some very dear friends of ours live in Roseville!  We miss it up there, being so close to the mountains and Tahoe...So funny - really is a small world!

DisneyDebi- We lived in Rocklin 5 years and Roseville 9 years, so that is like home to all of our kids. I know the whole area up there really well, I sold Real Estate for 11 of the years.  Our oldest daughter still lives in Roseville. Hoping she moves down in the next year or two, before her oldest daughter starts school.

Where up north Elizabeth?  We lived in Sacramento for 10 years and moved back here to be closer to family!  Our one daughter still lives up there, in Folsom, and our other daughter lives in NC with our one and only grandson.  Our other son and daughter live here in So Cal and our youngest is the one in boot camp.

Thank you.  Grand kids are great, now they just all need to move down here.

Susank, my sons 2 best friends are both stationed  on the East Coast, one in the Army and one a Nuke in the Navy, they both told my son he is one lucky guy, not so much in those words, not sure if the Army or the Navy has the worst swearing problem. I have one daughter that lives in the Sacramento area (she has two kids), my son is in the middle and then I have a 19 year old daughter that moved down here, to down town LA to go to school, July last year. So we kind of followed her back down here, since this is where both my husband and I are from and he wanted to move back after being up north for 14 years.

When will your son be deploying again? Is he on a sub?

"He" is in Washington- typo

Hi is in Washington and at least it is closer than the east coast and on the same time zone. He went to college on the east coast and did two years in the Navy there also. We just got back from visiting him before he deploys again. The visits go way too fast. San Diego is a two hour plus drive for us. That would be amazing. I am always hinting how great it would be. He does like WA though and my senior wants to go to college there. I would consider moving up there but we have other family members who need us here.

Susank, we know we are lucky.  I was so anxious about him getting his orders I cried for days before.  Then I cried because I was so happy, those are the exact orders he wanted long before he signed up.  His recruiter told him no way would he get what he wanted, he is eating his words now. LOL That cutie is my grand daughter from my oldest daughter, she lives 6 hours away:(

Susan, where is your child?
