She's not on a ship yet. She said that she's only been taking classes since she's been there.

Hi Everyone! So sorry I've been out of the loop! I really miss you guys and want to wish you all a Happy New Year! I've had quite a bit going on, but I'm Back!. My daughter was able to come home for the first time b4 Christmas, but had to report to VA the Friday before Christmas, that sucked since they had a 4 day weekend, but I still enjoyed her being home and laughing at the stories she told.  I look forward to catching and reuniting with everyone! Luv You Guys!!!!!!

Christmas blessings to all you Navy mom's and families! Our son had planned on being home for Christmas, even had flights booked etc., but that wasn't to be. Now Mom & Dad get to pay for tickets that went unused.  We miss him terribly, but know that he is safe and that means the world to us. We have so many friends who have lost sons/daughters to accidents, suicide, cancer, still birth, bulimia etc., that we are just thankful that we know we're getting a call today during dinner. Those with their sailors at home, give them an extra hug and tell them that it is for all us that can't give their sailor a hug today and then give them another hug --- just because!  Prayers for all of you....remember to keep Christ in Christmasl, He is the reason for the season.

Merry Christmas! Have a safe one! My sailor couldn't come home this year she's in Japan but we are glad for those of you that have your sailors home. Spend as much time as you possibly can with them because it goes by so quickly. Tomorrow, will be filled with prayers for all of us.

Merry Christmas to all my Navy Mom friends.  It's been 6 months since our kids left us to join our awesome Navy.  What a ride it's already been.  I sure wish my son could have come home for Christmas but his Dad is there with him(he's still in A school).  If your sons/daughters are home with you, enjoy!  To all the rest of us, maybe next year!!  God Bless you all!!
