OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Isn't it weird how all the kids really didn't have straight answers with all this? I am waiting for my son to call. He wasn't positive on the time of training for him either. Maybe it's for security reasons, and if that is the case....good.Thank you for giving me a new "home" Lol!...I am afraid I will be here a lot.

My daughter went to Pensacola also. We thought she was only going to be gone for a month and she found out yesterday that she will be there for 3 months.
