NavyMom:  Sorry to see you go from this group, but happy you will see your SR a week earlier!  We veterans will see you over on the 10/14 group!  We bounce around on all of them!  Right now, there are 8 active PIR groups to peek in on!  Now you see why I get "mixed up" sometimes! 

Thanks for starting this group and we will get a volunteer from here to take it over as an administrator...unless you have someone in mind?

Momof5, There is no PIR 10/23 group. The next group is 10/28. Your SR probably miss-printed it. I can see that happening because the 8 kind of looks like a 3.

Mamaof5:  Are you sure you don't mean that you are in PIR 10/21?  There will be no PIR 10/23.  The next PIR group after 10/21 is 10/28 and it hasn't formed yet.  So I think you may be in the right group here.  Have you received your form letter yet?  That should confirm your SR's group.

Thanks you two, sorry it took me so long to respond. I have been busy making ribbons and scrapbook items all day. I had my sailors home all weekend and I had a lot of late orders for the 9-9 PIR group that I have to get in the mail today and tomorrow. Thanks so much for the wonderful comments about my ribbons and scrapbook items. If anyone wants more info just send me a friend request on here and I will send you the info. Well Momaof5 if his PIR is not Oct 23rd it could be a week sooner and in most cases that is usually a good thing? It can make this journey seem sop much faster lol. One way or the other you are welcome in both groups :-)

Hi, my son left for BC on the 23 and I received his box a couple of days ago.  I was amazed how fast it was since we are way out here in Oregon.  I hope I'm in the right group and his graduation is Oct 23.

Hey everyone...i got the box today and was cell phone only.  So he must have donated his clothes???  Now just patiently waiting for the form letter.  Can't wait.  looks like several of you have an earlier PIR of 10/14.  I wonder if my son will be in that one becuase he got to Great Lakes early on the 23rd.  I got the call at 2 pm and from what i understand it is based on how soon they arrive and the div are formed.  wait and see :)

I live in Missouri, received the box on Friday.  Whcih I was surprised I thought my husband bought me an anniversary gift.  However; it was all my son stuff minus the kid. His cell phone and everying was in there so there might be a mix up in the postal. That does happen from time to time with us so I was surprise to get our stuff as soon as we did.  LOL

Carebear thats is the same div and ship as my daughter, did u get his box yet and are you in Illinois, I am and was thinking that is why I got her letter so quickly.   Fireteamleaderwife, she got there on the 23rd.I donbt think she donated her stuff as she had her cell phone with her so I know that would be coming back, so excited,lol

I just received my son's letter his PIR  OCT 21 2011  SHIP 2 DIV 949 I was excited to here from him
