Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas to everyone!
Thinking of everyone and the whirlwind of PIR and great it was to met you. My sailor remaind in GL and his dates have changed already 3x. He is still going to Norfolk but now it will be Dec 6th and he will not be home for either holiday, Thanksgiving nor Christmas - but as of now he will be able to come home for New Years :) so we'll have a double holiday celebration as well as a New Years Eve party - decided to just make it an 'open house' for his friends and family as well. Norfolk is only a 9 hour drive from my home - a lot easier than the 16 hr to GL. Disappointed about the holidays - but we can skype him and love the phone calls we can now get. Wishing everyone a Blessed Thanksgiving - sending hugs
Hi everyone just checking in. I miss everyone here also. I do enjoy the ability to talk and text with my sailor freely now. He tells me classes start monday. He also got a new pair of never shine boots this week end. They are his christmas present from mom and dad. He tells me they hold a shine better than his other boots. Now he won't have to be shining them all the time. He is so happy and seems to be adjusting well to his new home. So proud of my boy. Still miss him but it is getting better with time. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. God Bless everyone.
Just stopped by to say Hi. miss talking to everyone
Hi everyone...glad to see we are all still trying to stay in touch. My sailor is doing well, he is in SC and is waiting for classes to start. They will start on Monday. Hope everyone is doing well..I hope everyone's sailor is doing good in school. Blessing to you all!!
Connecticut is beautiful in the fall, but they will get lots of snow in the winter. I live right across the water from Groton...just a ferry ride away!! Glad to hear they all like it there!! My son is in GL at A school, he actually we be done already 2 days before Thanksgiving, he will get to come home then for about 10 days. He will be then going to Norfolk and probably won't be home for Christmas! He seems to be doing well.
Lori mine is in Groton also.He likes it alot too.
My boyfriend is in CT. Just started some schooling still unsure which one it is last Monday I think. He seems really happy there. I'm planing a trip around the hoildays to see him. I hope that your son is doing well.
I miss everyone on here, too. I keep checking it but no one has posted anything. My son is currently at San Antonio waiting on classes to start, which won't begin until early December. Lots of cleaning and working out. He's also started studying some so he has a jump on it once classes start. Would love to know how everyone else is doing!
