Leftwayleft----Goliath's Mom....
I wanted to be sure to chime in along with all of the other Moms who have sent you their love, prayers and gratitude. You were our rock from the get-go. Your calm and caring manner was very apparent in all of your comments. I am heart broken that this "difficulty" with finding out your son's status was laid on you.
I was very impressed about his new room. Wow...all I did was clear the stack of papers off the dining room table!
When you are finally able to wrap ypur arms around your son, hold very still, close your eyes...and feel ALL OF OURS wrap around both of you. God bless you and Goliath.
Congratulations on the incoming I am a Sailor calls!!! What a great day for you, the best day of the week is still to come!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS to all the New Sailors!
I have a Sailor!!!!!. He call and got to talk a long time. I even called my mom on my cell phone and let her hear his voice and talk. She was so happy to hear her grandson voice. I can not wait to leave for PIR. Congrats to all other Sailors. Hope to see you all at PIR. Be proud
Thinking that the BattleStations date I was given for 814 needs to be moved up a day. There is a conflict with the next PIR group starting.
Glad to know for sure that 203/204 went through last night. If 204 went, 203 went too since they are brother divisions.
Congrats to your new sailor, tatmom!
just got my "I'm a sailor" call - One may may pass.
leftwayleft. I know God has a plan for your son and he will thrive and continue to be the wonderful young man he is. As others have said "Thank you for your wonderful support and knowledge to everyone" I pray that you can get your son sooner than later. Take care and God Bless.
leftwayleft, Prayers for all in Ship 5. Go get your son and spent time together. Be strong.
leftwayleft: So sorry that you and your son have been through this "torture" for several days now--I know you were so relieved to finally get to talk to him. This is one time when the NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS wasn't true since your son was not allowed to call.
Is it because you didn't get your I'm a Sailor call that you called the PAO to find out his status originally? So sorry that it took so long for you to get info.
I agree with you and these ladies...such a difficult time, but sounds like your son is handling it well right now...there is something different and better down the road for him. Thanks so much for starting this group and leading the ladies along....blessings to your son as he goes through the discharge process. I agree with Jill that you should go to "Ship 5 (formerly Ship 17)" group on here and the one she mentioned and read for info. The code he is discharged under is important. Sounds like he will have a "new" room to return to for his "new" beginning!
