Avaya:  I say....throw some "dirty socks" on the floor....whatever will give you some peace while he is gone.  Funny how the things that can drive us crazy about spouses/kids....when they are gone and those things are not issues anymore, it is downright painful!  And, as Ronny and Anna said....vent here whenever you like!  That is what it is for.

Bootcamp is an emotionally up and down experience for the SRs and for you all too.  But it does get better---even as bootcamp goes along, it will get better.  Just know that A School is a totally different experience...once they are back in contact, it is so much better!  So hang in there....this too shall pass!

Avaya, PIR will come before you know it....and it is truly an amazing experience.  You can vent all you want!! I will listen..LOL....did you send him some phone cards or did he take some with him....if you need anymore, go to calls for recruits.org and get some free ones.  I hope you have a truly amazing Mother's Day and he calls you today!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh man. That video was nice. Thank you for sharing.  I try so hard not to cry and to stay positive. This past two weeks feels like two months. I miss my husband.  I joked with him and said "at least there won't be any dirty socks on the floor when you leave."  Now I want the dirty socks back on the floor and the sound of his voice to be in our home. :( I write a letter every day and get nothing back (I know I will soon). But waiting is so hard. Sorry to sound so down. I just need to vent and to know I'm not alone.

Does anyone know when the DEERS insurance information will come in? I just got the form letter from my husband, willl it come sometime soon after that? I am hoping to get our son set up for insurance before he's sick again. He's sick every few weeks thanks to the day care :)
