I started running again this last week - I had taken about six months off - and I find that it really reduces the stress.  I should be in great shape by the time graduation comes around!!!  I'm not an exercise freak - in fact I hate it - but running is just enough to push the yucks out of my system.  I'll be running three miles tonight for sure!!

aggiemom and Vonecia, take a deep breath and take each day as it comes.  Just when you think you can't handle another day without communication, just could be the day you get a letter or a phone call.  You can do this!  I always tried to remember that there is no one stronger than a Navy mom!  Your loved one had to get their strength and courage from someone, and I bet it was from you.  If you are a gf/wife/mother, you are most important woman in their life.  You are their biggest support. Pretty soon, instead of looking back on the days that they are gone, you will be looking so forward to the few days that they have left, that this time will be a distant memory.  ((hugs)) to you.

Today is a good day for me, I "borrowed" a pair of my girls shoes to wear to work so that I would have a piece of her with me today. The problem is, they are bright blue, do not really go with what I have on...and are not that comfortable. :>) But, I feel better as long as I don't walk around much! I sure hope everyone has a good day, Hugs sent to all that need it!

Vonecia I am right there with you.  I've had really good days and for some reason this last weekend was really hard and I am not having a good day today.  Let's just get through this one day at a time - I'm sure that tomorrow will be better.

It won't be long before you all are singing: "Happy Days are Here Again!"  Phone calls, letters, I'm a Sailor calls, and PIR do that to you!  PIR makes it all worth it, believe me!
