I got a short letter yesterday. She said several times she hadn't received any letters yet and to have people write. She wrote it on Sunday. Hope she has since received at least some of the multitude I have sent since getting her address. Since it was such a short letter, I'm thinking one of those "boot camp questionnaires" will be good to send.

I have a feeling their are mailman stalkers in this group today. Are you hiding in the bushes or just standing by the box with your hand out waiting? lol. I always sat on my porch swing in the afternoons on Thursdays just waiting for it to finally come and when there was a holiday on Monday and my letter was a day late I thought I would die before Fridays mail came. I hope you all get letters today ;-)

I didn't get a letter yesterday either.  I was so hoping.  Oh well..maybe today.  I live in California so who knows it might be even longer for us.

I totally agree with diannep on the letters.   Before my left for BC, he told me to please not write him everyday.  But then on the first "real" phone call to me, he said that I was right (I cherish that line :) ) that he did really miss me and that I should write as much as I want.  :)  He wrote to me once a week and I was very happy with that.  I only received my letters on Thursdays, so some letters could very well come today.  I'm sure that it does really depend on where you live on when you receive them because I was living in New Mexico at the time.  A lot of the women in our PIR group was getting their letters a day or two before me.
