Kassie, I am so sorry to hear about your SR.

Kassie73: I am so sorry to hear that about his grandma. I hope you get a phone call soon and get information regarding your SR. There is still time before friday!

My prayers are with you.

I am so happy for all of you!  I think my SR is one who was asmoed but not sure.  Last I heard he had a knee injury and wasn't sure if he would be able to do BS.  The worst part is that my SR's grandma passed away and her funeral is the next weekend.  He doesn't know this yet and we were waiting til he got through his BS.

I am truly proud and happy for you all!

Micaela, Your Sailor will be able to meet you at the desk. He will have a lot more freedom now that he is no longer in boot camp.

My SR got teary eyed also.  He said he was so proud.  They all were.

Mine said he got teary at the capping too.  The RDC that was the worst to him - gave him his cap and smiled at him and told him he did a good job.  He was very proud of himself - I can't begin to tell you how proud I am.  What an awesome day and there is more awsomeness to come.  AWESOMENESS - what a great word!

oh yeah quick question? Since my SR has to be with me to receive gate pass, if he is already in, is he allowed to leave and come meet me outside to get one? ughh I am so lost in all of this now.

For the ladies worrying about seeing them on the bootcamp website there is a family guide and in it, it says you can meet them at the airport :)
