And with all of that............. gone again.

Keep telling myself we raise them to let them go. Now I need to start listening to myself.

Had a great time this weekend. My Sailor got held over (med papers need signed) so we got to spend all of Saturday with him in Chicago. Took the train, did the Sears Tower, water taxi, Navy Pier, Bus, Field Museam and a taxi. It was wonderful. Wish we could have stayed a few more days and do more with him, but work calls and school for our girl.

I hope everyone got to enjoy their Sailor. We made it!!!!!!!!!!

PIR was wonderful.  I can't believe how much my SR changed.  It was great seeing everyone (even if we didn't offically meet).  The boys and girls were wonderful.

Ahhhh...what a weekend. From the beginning to my flight being cancelled and my mental breakdown at the airport to a two hour drive to a different airport, nothing would of stopped me from being there, even if i had to ride a bike! lol Then I was up for 48 hours straight and now I am beginning to remember my first name, but it was the best weekend of my life. I am so proud and happy. It is truly something you will never forget!

love you all ladies and Bravo Zulu to our Sailor's!!!! I can't believe countdown says 0 now. I hated that thing last week. lol

A group decision was made at the Meet & Greet and I have changed the name of our group to Alumni of . . . .  It was soooo nice seeing everyone at graduation and the meet and greet.  Putting names to faces and talking like we've known each other for years.  Let's keep in touch girls!  Finally home after a long and awesome weekend with my sailor.

What a roller coaster of emotions!  We went to Red Lobster to eat and I was amused that he insisted on eating with his overcoat on to protect his uniform. It was also nice to see how they were treated with respect wherever we went.  Staff of the restaurant called him sir, thanked and congratulated him.

He was able to come home for a couple hours after PIR, and the Sailor that wasnt getting any mail came with him, and will be with us again today!

Vonecia, you are cracking me up!
