Our son is stationed with the marines and is due to deploy soon.  He was home for 2 weeks and is now waiting for the big day......

Just a HOWDY! To all my friends! Can you believe it has been a year??? Wow! I know many of your Sailors are out in the fleet and I would love to have everyone post where they are stationed, or which ship they are assigned to, etc.  Mine is still in Charleston/Goose Creek, SC going to Nuke School. He is half-way through Power School and then he will do Proto-Type School, so around 9 more months before he gets assigned to anything! You all were such a blessing to this nervous Mom. Happy Dancing with our Sailor's successes!

I just forget to check on this sometimes... Hi everyone! Mine is still in schools (Nuke program). Still another year. Would love to hear where everyone's Sailor is at without giving away anything!  Graduates from Power School 5/25/12 and then has Grad hold for Proto-Type and will probably move to Balston Spa, NY, he would love to stay in Charleston if he could. He hates cold weather. Like me!

Does anyone have info on shipping a vehicle from state to state? My son is stationed in Whidbey Island WA- he arrived there in July then left for his first deployment to Japan around the end of August. He has asked me to ship his truck to Washington St when he arrives back from deployment. I'm in need of a reputable source to ship from Tx to Wa . If anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it:))) Thanks:))

Yay proudmom!!!! Guess we now know why God sent her to TEXAS! I remember her comments about not liking SA, but I guess she definitely changed her mind! Hope they plan the marriage before they plan a wedding!  Justin L's Mom... your son is now the fourth I know aboard the Stennis!  I am friends with their FB page, I love seeing all the photos and shout outs!  That ship is in the process of handing out pillowcases to all aboard! Hopefully he will receive one too!
