Hi Biriam - sorry, I just now saw your message.  The only way I know my son is back is when he calls me.  He is not the best communicator, but I think I have made it VERY clear to him that I expect a call as soon as he's on dry land again!!!

Hi everyone, It is always nice to hear good comments about the USS Tenn. My son in a MT.  They are not supposed to tell us when they leave or comeback and I am worried about it. Based on your son's previous deployments, can anybody tell me how's the life there?? My son is very excited about it, but I am very nervous. Do you ever know when they come back?

Hi Biriam and KWL's mom!!  Happy to see other people from the blue crew!  So far so good for my son - he has done one deployment so far, and is very much looking forward to the next.  He is an EM.

My son is also on the USS Tenn, blue crew! So proud of him; he is now in for another four years. Sometimes we get e-mails while they're out, and sometimes not so many. But they are safe and doing fine without us. :( :)

Hi Everyone, I am pretty new on this group since my son just joined the blue crew.  Does anyone has a son on the same crew? My son is only 19 years old and his first deployment will be soon, but we don't know when and I am extremely nervous about it.

Hi Lin,  I'm happy there appears to be somebody else here from Blue Crew!!  My son has been through one deployment so far, and loves the Tennessee.  They do have a great ombudsman, who should be contacting you soon.  There is also a Facebook page for the Blue Crew, that is more active than this one.

Hi everyone!  My son just graduated from Nuke school last Friday.  He has orders for the USS Tennessee.  We're in Florida, so we're very happy that he will be close.

Hello!!  My son just got his tentative orders for the USS Tennessee.  He is set to graduate from Nuke school September 18.  He has wanted to be on a sub long before he actually joined the Navy.  A new adventure awaits!!
