I have already hit up Paymaster (who has a daughter) regarding an intro for my YOUNGER son (younger brother of sailor who will be 22 next month). Cute, golf handicap of 2. West Point drop out. Now studying petroleum engineering. Really into making lots of money. Wants trophy wife type (mom is gagging LOL) but intelligent and obedient. He plays the sax and guitar. Excellent chess player. A runner. About 5'11" 150 lb. Comes with a great future MIL and FIL who will spoil her and make her feel like a California Princess.
AllieNJ, he thinks slightly "older" ladies are tops!

Allie...you probably saw my son, as he was in 12-10 and went bowling on the first night of liberty. Small world! He is currently in Pensacola for flight school....NFO. AND...he has a new girlfriend. Well, actually an old one from home, but they got back together when she went to visit him. Still...it's all good!

AllieNj....I am the old time mom in the group (in good company with Quilt Lady). Son has been in the Navy 13 years. We have a daughter that lives on her own here in town. We also have two really cute granddaughters, they are the Navy's son's childrean, along with the best DIL in the world. Can't get much better than my DIL! She is also expecting a baby boy in Oct. Hope to get to see all the Navy son and family soon!

I of course work outside the home and do volunteer work.

Allie, my nuke officer (on a sub) son has a gf. I haven't told her about this site. Afraid it'll scare her off. I am hoping he'll pop THE big question soon. Don't want to rock the boat (pun intended). You are most welcome to join us. My son graduated from OCS in Mar '07. We're here for you - I subscribe to the theory - Happy GF(Fiancee, Wife), Happy Officer.

Once they're out of the beginning year, the Navy doesn't seem to notify the family any more of promotions. A few months ago, as an after-thought, my son mentioned that he got his 4 year promotion to LT. And he told us of his recent successful completion of his carrier qualifications. So, congratulations to all the new promotions and parents of the sailors!
