dooby1424 and way2go - my daughter is an officer attached to a squadron, but is not a pilot and I have enjoyed just quietly hanging out and reading all the comments from the other moms whether the are aviation or SWO or helo or whatever. I have learned a lot already. I find comments from everyone very interesting and enlightening..

dobby1424.....What topics would you like to talk about? Just start talking we will listen and join in. As Lorrie A stated the topic changes here, a week or so ago we were talking about football.

Son is currently on a LDP. Been in since 01.

dooby1424 - while a mom of a navy pilot ('05) I also love and pray for his best friend and his fiancee who are both on different surface ships. His best friend was our #2 son. Chris was so honored when he commissioned his best friend into the navy. Like many of the moms here, we're diverse and are proud of and pray for all our sailors!

my children are both officers (son and daughter) and their spouses are both officers. 2 subs, 1 surface nuke, 1 adminsitrative (HR). It would be nice to find a site where I could talk to other moms it the same situation. Mine have been in the Navy for many years already...commissioned: '01, '02, '02, '04
