900's division sailors

Haup9 -  I found 4 with my son. Have spent the rest of the night peering at all the others looking for more. Thanks for taking care of me guys. Hoping there will be more to see from 9/14. I will repay and take pics of other SRs for Moms at my sons PIR.

Hello, I found out today my son is in Division 951.

I am waiting for a group to start for Ship 2 Div 951.  I found out yesterday this is where my son is.  I would love to hear from others in the same division.  I miss my son terribly and I think this would help me feel connected.  Anyone???

Sonya, you should go to 900 Division - Recruit Training Command - Great Lakes, IL. You'll find someone has already posted about their son in div 951. :) You should also join the group 900 Division - Great Lakes, IL - US Navy. They have helped me a lot these last 11 days!!

@ copincuffs-my son is also in Ship 2/Division 950.  Not sure exactly what he is doing yet because I just got the form letter yesterday.  Funny thing about it is he wrote "what does 900 division mean?".  I hope by now, he knows:-)  I can't wait to hear what he is doing in that division.

Kathy thank you for posting that information. It was helpful to see there was a 951. I feel much better.

I just got off the phone with my SR. He sounded happy, and that was my main concern, if he was happy. His sense of humor is still there. I can't wait to see him in Oct. I am one happy momma!!!!!!

Best way to get ahold of them is via e-mail.  If you order shirts now they will not be here before PIR.  Also recommend you don't order any shirts until AFTER PIR as your recruit (soon to be Sailor) may have ordered some for gifts and you don't want to ruin their suprise.  And if they didn't order any as gifts, as when they are ordering them they are kind of being spoken loudly at, they may not have thought of anything except ordering themselfs one....no worries as you can order them after PIR.

Hello Everyone, today have been "LaSue and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day". How long does it take for the red cross to make contact with the SR's? And will they be able to call home after receiving the message?

LaSue I am not certain how long it takes but it only takes seconds for me to say a prayer for you which I just did.  Sorry to hear things are so bad.

Will Man's Mom:  my SR is division 947 (Rifles) and will be performing for the first time on 9/21 PIR.  Would absolutely appreciate any photos of that particular group!!!!!!

My son is div 901 also mrs roo and I do not know what that means either but I was told that it is a preforming division.

Here's a shout out to 947 winners of the Captain's Cup!  It's been a very long, uphill, tough 8 weeks for this division.  It looks like they got it together!!!!!!  We love our very-soon-to -be- Sailors!!!!!!  I've got my phone charged!

mom2jessibee you are doing fine it just takes a bit for everyone to get there info and figure out were they belong. my son is ship 2 div 901 PIR 11/16. soon there will be a PIR 11/30 showing up and you can join that that will be a very active site.

Hi TammySue, my Son plays the saxophone and is going to be a Nuke as well as will going to Goose Creek after PIR.

My daughter is Ship 02 Div 905.  I haven't seen anyone else with the 905 yet.  I wonder what she's up to there.

Hi Sharona & SCNavy Mom - Our daughter is Ship 02 and Div 906 too. We haven't rec'd the letter yet either but got a surprise call on Sat as well. Seems there was a delay in actually starting BC but they begin this week & get pb shot tomorrow. JB3 is a stick & also plays trombone. She said PIR is 12/28, but I want to see it officially on the letter. Hope to get that late this week or early next.

Hey everyone I just got a call from my son Div 902 WOW after I found out everything was great and he just got to make a call for doing good in an inspection. He said they have been very busy. They willo be in this Fridays PIR. He will be holding the OR. Flag. He said it is so cold make sure you bring warm clothes. Hew said he made some real close friends with 3 other Srs he told me their last names but i forgot already sorry.His div is doing great
