How long is A school?
I am trying to get a sense of how long A school is for air traffic control. And are sailors allowed to have their phones while there? If I am meeting my sailor at the airport as he leaves after boot camp PIR, can he take his phone with him?Thanks!

Pensacola AC school 10/2015
My son just graduated Navy BC on 10/16 and arrived in Pensacola on Saturday. Haven't heard much from him, but he said AC school may not start until next year. Anybody else have an airman in the same situation?

What happens to those who don't make it through the AC program?
I have been reading that only 40% of the sailors in the AC program in Pensacola actually make it through the program due to the intense difficulty of the program. What happens to the sailors who do not make it through the program?
