So I just returned from our Sailor's graduation this past week, AMAZING!!! In a posting on one of our Facebook pages one of the mom's posted pictures and at the bottom of them was a program of the ceremony. Myself and some other members never saw them and of course want one. Admins, do you know if there is anyplace we can contact to try to get one??

I sent my son off to RTC with 4 of those free calling cards. None of them worked. I am finding out now that this is not uncommon. I would recommend that if you want to send the free ones, then send a back up calling card.

My son also told me that his did not work. He bought one at the NEX, but I am going to send him an extra one this week. I am not sure how many minutes the one he bought has on it and would hate to think that he could not call at every given opportunity.

Hi N4M family, Tomorrow is going to be a rough one... It's my son's birthday, I tear up just writing this. I can't call him, text him, message him, facebook him, snapchat him, instagram him, twitter him and I didn't receive my form letter yet so I don't even know if the cards and letters we all sent him to the address his recruiter gave me, will even get to him. I hope he knows in his heart we are all thinking about him on his special day and he is filled with love- the first Birthday ever that he is not home with his family :( 

You can print out the Graduation Program through a link on the RTC website; you must do so before the next week's Award Winners and Honor Recruits are posted (usually on Wednesday or Thursday), so if you want the one for 23 January then print it soon.

Looks like I am not the only one who has a recruit that will celebrating their bithday next week. At least our kiddos will not be alone on their birthday. They will be surrounded by their new band of brothers and sisters. That brings me comfort.

Missed birthdays are just something extra to celebrate after PIR, Make it special.Unfortunately, it won't be the last of missed holidays. ;(

Got a call from my son this morning. It was around 7:30... he was doing something, and when he got done they told him he had 5 minutes if he wanted to make a call... we talked for 9. lol Sounded so good! They haven't seen much of the snow, they are getting ready for their first inspection today.. (=

Tiff S, yes Rainforest Cafe had been a birthday favorite with the kids since they were little. So visiting the one in Gurnee was a natural choice for a belated 18th bday.

Regarding the phone cards, we got one with 500 minutes for $25 at walmart. It gives me peace of mind to know he has the resource to call whenever he gets a chance.

Thanks TJ Proudnukemom! I've been wondering where I can get them.. they just opened two neighborhood markets, one is right up the road from me, so I may stop and grab him one or two either this evening or in the morning...

Also, be sure you don't grab the cards that are made to "recharge" pre-paid phones. We found the phone cards on the display with other gift cards.

YEA!!!! Got the form letter today! (1/29...she left on the 21st). I have her PIR as 3/20 and she is in ship 03 DIV 114. Looking forward to meeting other moms with the same dates and ship/division!!!

My recruiter gave me  - DIV 115 SHIP 13

I thought this was right because my recruiter happened to be our cousin.  My son arrived on 1/21. My box arrived on  1/25 but I have not gotten my form letter. we already mailed letters and birthday cards so I hope he gets them . I am dying to find our his PIR so we can make arrangements. Congrats to all those who got their letter and calls :) I take my phone everywhere with me even to bed now :) I wish I could tape my call with him to listen over and over to it.  God Bless.
