Totally clueless! My son told me he had to meet with a dr to be evaluated and take the ASVAB. 2 days back to back. Talk to the recruiter last night and that is not the whole story. He is doing the MEPs and suppose to pick a job and swear in. WOW, we are not ready for that quite yet. He is still in HS. Senior year and definitely wants to enlist, but have not even begun researching what job/area he wants to go in. Recruiter just picked him up and they are off. I told him to sign nothing today/tomorrow until we have time to ask questions. Will this hurt his chances to go into the Military? What are the next steps after MEPs? Can he go back in a month or two and sign his job holder and swear in?

If a recruit arrives on ship out day an is overweight and over BMI BUT her waist is within the accepted range and she can meet or exceed most of the physical requirements and is very close to meeting the run timE, will they send her home.

Hi new mom here, is it true there is a second swearing in at MEPs the day he leaves for BC that I can attend?
