(Running behind on my welcomes getting ready for our sailor to get home. He got home safely early this morning after running into many storms on the road.)
Hi and Welcome.
We are happy to have you on the Navy for Moms site. You are invited to join either the Illinois or Missouri family page as listed below. It is a great way to find families in your area and even help plan meet and greets. We also have some packing parties for our troops overseas getting together.
Looking forward to hearing from you in one of our groups!
Be sure and let me know if you have any questions!
PS. Feel free to “cruise” my page and see if there are any other groups that interest you. One of my passions is supporting our deployed troops. Check out http://www.navyformoms.com/group/mollysadoptasailorproject and see if it is a group you may like to join.
Hi Lucina! Thats awesome to talk with someone who also has a son in Great Lakes. They left on the same day too. Its been so difficult dor us to cope with his being gone. We realized it would be hard but truly didn't know the extent of pain his abscence would bring us. We miss our son terribly and I can only imagine you are going through the same. The videos have helped me a bit to see what they will be going through. It brings at ease knowing he's safe. Graduation is April 20th and we can't wait to see him. We live in Arizona so he is pretty far from home. We are so proud of him and we thank your son also for his service. We are keeping son and your family in our prayers.
