I'm over your way all the time.  Four of us just met at Lotawata for lunch.

    Hi and Welcome.

We are happy to have you on the Navy for Moms site.  You are invited to join either the Illinois or Missouri family page as listed below.  It is a great way to find families in your area and even help plan meet and greets. We also have some packing parties for our troops overseas getting together.

Looking forward to hearing from you in one of our groups!

Be sure and let me know if you have any questions!

PS.  Feel free to “cruise” my page and see if there are any other groups that interest you. One of my passions is supporting our deployed troops.  Check out http://www.navyformoms.com/group/mollysadoptasailorproject and see if it is a group you may like to join.

JGMom's - So sorry you did not get a call...My son said they had no idea and were told to get their calling cards and line up.  When he called he had no idea how long he was going to be given - they never said. He thought the whole division was down there together. It was a little hard to hear...very static connection - he said they were all having trouble with connections.  Maybe your son was on duty?  with a job or watch? I hope you get a call - it was nice to talk to him - my other call was only 9 mins and others were getting 20 and 30 minute calls.  Happy Mothers Day...keeping my fingers crossed for you!
