Since you have a Sailor, you can change "Waiting to leave for Boot Camp" above to "Enlisted."

Hi Beth...my son had his PIR last weekend. I see you are about a month behind me since your son had his PIR. Now my boy is down in Goose Creek. I am trying to connect with other Nuke moms. Jen

Beth, my SR asked that at PIR it be me, his two brothers and my daughter in law.  Since he is going NUKE we will probably only have about 9 hours with him.  My three boys are very close and used to spending lots of time together. David is the baby, my middle son is 10 years older than him, oldest son is 13 years older, since I have been a single mom since David was 10, with sole custody of him (long story) his big brothers have taken on the role of adult male role model.  So I will honor his request and make the time we have together about family.  Message me with your long story,

Hi Beth.

My son leaves on 9/26 from Maine but we live in SC. He joined in NH. Anyway, my husband is a retired Nuke Officer and we live inColumbia,SC.

I would love to have your son and anyone else who needs a home for the weekend to come over. We all have to watch out fr each other right?

Besides my husband would love talking shop with these guys.

Please let me know if we can help.

What division is your SR in?  I ask because I saw where you said the next call would be Fri,  Aug 31st for that division.  That should be the I'm a Sailor call.  Trying to figure out which divisions will be going through on that Thurs night.  Thanks!

Hi!  Thank you so much for responding "in my time of need!"  I miss him so much my heart hurts!  I understand what you mean about it being hard to reinvent yourself.  I'll be praying for you as well!
