Bill, thanks for getting back to me. I'm glad you have a copy of the DVD. I think our boys are about together in where they are. I mentioned Michael is awaiting A school, but I meant ATT. Maybe he has heard by now like your son did. He graduated SCC just about the same time as your son, too! We'll wait and see I guess. Have a great day and I'll see you on "Ask the SDC." Vee

Hi Bill, I have been watching your comments in Ask the SDC and I think my grandson, Michael, and your son, Brett, are about at the same level right now. Michael's PIR was 01-09-09, also. He is on the USS Porter and awaiting A school, so I will be interested in Will's answer to your question. I'm not sure what you are looking for as far as video, but I have a video of our boys' PIR and would be glad to make you a copy. Michael was in Divn 058. Feel free to email me at: wranglr4v01@yahoo.com if I can help you. Vee

Bill, I'm glad I could help. That's what we are all here for. Congrats on a fine looking sailor. He is doing well, I hope. Good luck and yes, Elizabeth will take care of you I'm sure.

I sure know about hurry up and wait...mine has been out of school 10 months and has not been to sea as yet, he calls himself a glorified janitor. Although he keeps his mind busy, old movies, video games, and lots of books (usually 2 or 3 at one time); he would rather be doing what he was trained to do. Continue to encourage and in the Navy's time all things will come to pass.
