Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Specific information on this policy change will be provided in the coming days and weeks.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your support.

RTC Graduation

**UPDATE 8/25/2022 - MASK MANDATE IS LIFTED.  Vaccinations still required.

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

Hi, since you have a Sailor you should change "In the NROTC program" above to "Enlisted" because NROTC refers to the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps, a college scholarship program. I suspect that you chose that when your Sailor was a recruit at the RTC; you aren't the first person to make that mistake and you won't be the last.

Charlotte so good to hear from you. My son PIR was 07/15 so you are a little ahead of me.  Is your sailor at Corry  Station?  What is he doing?

Hi Charlotte, Anthony is Ship 09 Div 202. We are scheduled to land at the Midway airport at 5:00.  We plan to stop and check in at our hotel then we will head over to the Ramada Inn.  We will be a little bit late, but at least we will be there.  I look forward to meeting everyone.

Hi Charlotte, my son Samuel is also 20 I hope Kyle and him know each other. May I suggest that you refrain from using your family name for security purposes. I am told for our Sailor's safety, that being said we also have four people attending the graduation. I look forward to meeting you and your family, however depending on the arrival of our flight I am not sure that we well make the meet and greet. I am looking forward to actually seeing my son in person, are you just as anxious?

Hi Charlotte,

So our son's our on the same Division, my name is Sonja. It was great to hear that another mom has a son/daughter that will graduate June 10th, have you already made arrangements for that day? This is lots of information to take in I was in info overload, did you feel the same way?

Hi Charlotte! I just saw that you wrote on my page so I apologize that it's taken me this long to respond back to you! My husband & I are from St. Louis, MO. He's 26 & went in with a Bachelor's degree. Although he has NO performing experience, he was put in division 930 for his high ASVAB score (which I don't remember either!). I'll be sure to ask him if he knows Kyle - I'm hoping for a phone call tonight! :)

Hi Charlotte! I'm fairly new to the site - as my husband joined a few weeks ago at RTC. He's in the same division as your son, and has NO performing experience whatsoever, but scored highly on the ASVAB. You should come join our Ship 2, Division 930 group in the June 10 PIR Group! :) Hope to share lots with you as our loved ones are in this together - literally!
