My husband, daughter and I recently moved to the Naval Weapons Station in Goose Creek, SC. My husband is attending Nuke school and I am currently a stay at home mom/student.
I am here to support my
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy career?
When I heard “Navy,” I...
Was proud and encouraged it
The Navy offers opportunities that...
Go out and make friends, it will make your experience 1000x better and getting out will help your overall mood. Also if you only focus on the negative, your Navy experience is obviously going to suck. Try to find the positive in all situations!
Our Navy experience so far...
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
Hey! Just got your newest message! :) I have to admit, I don't check N4M very often! I have been swimming in boxes, mostly empty, thank goodness. I would love to come over, though. I'll PM you my phone number, just send me a text with yours and we'll set something up for Thurs or Fri, I need to get out of the house! :)
Hey! Thanks for asking, yes we got everything moved in and the Uhaul returned. Now we are just unpacking and organizing. I just took Boone to indoc, and am just a little at a loss of what to do next! Did you feel like the base was huge and confusing when you first came?
Hey thanks for the add! When are you coming down to Charleston? I've been here for about 2 weeks already. If ya have a facebook, you can add me to it. Kristen Bates. I check that WAY more than this. :) I'm always looking to meet new people and get out. I have a 9 month old son and a 21 month old daughter. Sooo if you want to get together and have the tots run around or to just chill out and hang, you can!
