HI Donna, Once they drop you off in the shuttle I guess it's a 5 block walk. I think we will also drive in because my husband has MS and he has a hard time walking that far. Don't ya just love getting older? Hopefully we can get together Thursday night. My husband would like to stay at the Ramada they have a meet and greet there thursday night. Maybe you can all come to Meet and Greet. Talk to you later, Brenda

Hi Donna, we haven't booked our reservations yet. My sister lives 40 minutes from the base so we might stay with her the first night we arrive. We are looking at booking either at the Navy Lodge or Ramada. The Ramada has a shuttle from what I have seen on the web-site. Not sure exactly our plans yet. We are also thinking about driving since their are so many that want to come. How many are planning on going in your family? Where does Breanna go after boot camp? Cody's recruiter told him Pensicola, he maybe a grad and go, he is going into Aviation Mechanics. Hope to hear from them soon, I know their awful busy, Brenda

Sorry the comment box cutt me off. Div 323 and 324 all train together. He said there is alot of yelling and you only do whats asked nothing more and nothing less. He had to talk to the Lieutenant and he said he was shaking in his boots, to ask if he could join the wrestling team. He would have to leave A school part way through to try out for the wrestling team the lieutenant said, we will see how you do with the rest of BC. He said he did very well at all the test so far. I would rather he didn't and continues on with his Avaiation school. Wrestling is just so hard on the body. He said the food is ok, but they had to stay up for 54 hours when they arrived the first night. His comment was it was out of control. Hopefully you will recieve a letter from Breanna soon. I'm looking forward to the next letter and call. Would love to meet you at graduation. Take care Donna

Hi Donna, sorry to hear about Breanna cold, hope she gets feeling better soon. I was able to talk to Cody for about 10 minutes. Did Breanna have to activate her calling card? He said, " the division is doing well but there was three people who failed their mile and a half run that were men." He said they should be able to retake it and get their flag. He was excited and loves the Navy. Cody is 21 and was really ready to do something different and was excited about going into the Navy. He has 2 jobs carring the flag and personal trainer for those who do not pass the physical test. The sister brother ship is 323.

If they fill they can't handle it they will send them home. I have been praying for all the men and women. My son was really excited about going into the Navy hope Breanne is doing well. Brenda

Hi Donna I recieved a comment from Rhonda on gender thought I would pass it along. Have a great day, Brenda Comment by Rhonda 15 minutes ago @KOLOMOM yes, there are several ships that have male and female recruits. They sleep separately though, the boys/girls will sleep and hygiene with their brother division. It's really just the drill, PT, etc. that they do together.
