OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Felicia:  I know it is frustrating re: the form letter.  UGH!  Seems unfair if the letter doesn't ever arrive.  But you still have some time to get it and won't need that password until 11 days before PIR.  You can get lots of info on the RTC website:

http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil

Here's is their phone number also:  847 688 2405

Try not to worry...we have never heard of anyone not getting the password before PIR....hoping that your letter will arrive soon!
