Good Morning, I just wanted to check in on you.

I don't know if your submariner will go to Groton, CT for school or not and your air traffic controller might head to Pensacola, FL for school.

Dadyoftwins360 - I am so sorry to hear this!! (I saw your message in the main room chat) That one is not noticed a lot. I am going to be very busy the next couple of weeks so I won't be on much but I am wondering - is there another family member who might have gotten the form letter?

Dadyoftwins - I will try to get some more information for you with regards to rates, but it will be later probably. The home front and cooler weather for us is calling me to get busy on more of my moving.

Hello and welcome aboard! This is a fantastic group of ladies and they helped me every step of the way through boot camp. I too am a father in this group so it's nice to have another dad here with me, lol. I read that you were told about the Navy for Dad's site. I'm also a member there but to be honest there isn't much activity on it. You will have much better support getting your questions answered here. At least that's how it worked for me.

Staying busy is very helpful but I think it would be harder with two in at the same time. I have 5 children total and someone is always needing something or I need to go visit them to see them, so I don't have many lonely days. Getting the hang of this can take some time and it is a roller coaster of emotions on some days.

What rates did your sailors sign up for?

Good Morning Dadyoftwins360 and welcome to our group. We are glad that you are here.

I know it's hard but staying busy is key and even thou both of your loved ones are there they won't call at the same time or one might be able to call while the other one might have to wait. It depends on their division and how well everything is going in their division.

We always say No news is good news.

Keep your phone on you at all times and that ringer on loud as you just never know when a call will come thru.

Welcome again!!

Hello Dadyoftwins360 - Did you see B'sNukeMom's reply to your question in the main room chat? -

It is normal to not always have the same response from one SR that you have from another.  - The official form letter may not arrive until about week 4, especially if they ended up having to quarantine.

Our mantra around here is "No News is Good News!" Especially right now while they are in ROM and moving into Processing Days.

Phone calls are not guaranteed. Lots of factors can impede phone calls.

Keep your phone handy and answer ALL calls as you never know if it is your SR.

I see that you joined the BC Mom group - Welcome!! - Your other discussion post was in the general discussion area and that is not always noticed by the members. But if you click on the BC Mom and Loved ones group icon to the left of this message here on your profile page, it will take you to the group page, scroll down past all of the information posted, and past the Discussions on the group pages, you will come to our Comment Wall. If you haven't posted there yet, that is where we do most of our daily chatter and more of our members will see your messages through their email feed. Also, this site is best viewed on a computer versus a mobile device, but if you are on your phone, put it in desktop mode, is what I have heard is an easier way to view the screen.
