Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Very cool. :)

Well there's a ferry that goes from Bremerton to Seattle (you can look it up online), so that's a good option if you want to live in the Bremerton area. Or there are a few couples that live in Seattle and the sailor will commute to base in Bremerton.

There are some areas of Bremerton to stay away from. Kind of sketchy. A lot of people live in Silverdale also or Port Orchard. :) Port Orchard is a little bit closer to Seattle. Not a lot, but it's a nicer area than Bremerton and a few miles closer to Seattle. :)

I love it up here in Washington. It's so so gorgeous. :) Probably a lot smaller area than you're used to, but it's a lot larger than what I'm used to in Ohio.

Let me know if you have any questions about the area. :)

What does your hubs do on the ship? Mine works down in the reactor.

We're up in Bremerton. Are you all down in California?

How long has he been with the ship?
