phases in A-school

Posted on March 28, 2011 at 11:10am 0 Comments

Hi everyone!

I was wondering about the phases in a-school, right now my boyfriend is at the Great Lakes, training for corpsman. He is getting into his third week and is still in phase 1. We are trying to make plans for me to go out there and visit him for a weekend. He said I will not be able to until he is in phase 2. When will he earn phase 2? And what kind of liberty will he have during phase two?

Thank you :)

corpsman questions

My boyfriend's dad got a letter today that he shared with me. It was written last Thursday. He is a grad and go to the Great Lakes. In the letter he wrote that he isnt even positive if he'll have liberty after PIR, he said it is up to the a-school. Does anyone know what the chances are of the a-school not letting them have liberty during the weeknd? Also does anyone know what happens after a-school usually? Where he could possibly get stationed? For how long? And what it's like in general

Hi everyone! My boyfriend has been in BC for almost four weeks now. I have recieved one phone call and no letters. I know he has sent a few now because so far he has had two Sundays where he was allowed to write and said he sent them. Why am I not recieving them?! Does anyone know how many more times he will be able to call within these next 4 weeks? And if they'll be able to write more than just Sundays? And also how long does it usually take for them to recieve a letter?

Thank you…

I have a few questions for anyone that can answer them or knows about them. My boyfriend has been gone for boot camp for a week now. I was wondering when I was going to recieve his address and when I should expect a phone call or a few? Also, are we allowed to send them care packages?

Thank you!

Hi!  I have had 2 messages from the Lt. Cmdr. in charge of Navy Week (9/29 - 10/2) at the Big E in Springfield.  She and her CO want to know if MA Navy Moms would like a table at the fair to advertise our group.  I'm looking for anyone who might be willing to commit to helping in some way.

You can check out the comment I left on the MA Navy Moms page for a bit more info.

If you'd like to be a part of this, please let me know ASAP since I have to get back to her in the next few days. You can leave an answer on the MA Navy Moms page or send me a PM.

Thanks,

Donna

My fiancé is in Division 917, and he'll be playing the cymbals in the band at graduation :) Yes, he is staying at GL for A-school as far as we know.

Hi Katie :)
Thanks for friend requesting me. My fiancé and I are both 19 (I'll be 20 in three weeks) and we have been together for 2 1/2 years now. He is a Hospital Corpsman too, so perhaps our guys will get to know each other :) what division is he in? I assume he is graduating on March 11? perhaps we'll get to meet then :)
