Hi, I am just checking in on you!!
PM me when you have a chance - I am busy today but wanted you to know your SR was on my heart and mind this morning and prayers went up for him.!
Kmr5+1 - Thank you!! I am glad that you had a phone call!! That is so wonderful. Just hearing their voice makes are momma hearts happy!
Kmr5+1 - Good morning, I was posting a comment on OBKY's page and saw your post and thought I would just say hello!! I hope things are going well and you have had some communication from your SR. Days are getting closer and before you know it, you will have that "I'm a sailor" call. Although, that is what we call it, so don't be surprised if that is not the first words out of his mouth. Enjoy your day!
Did you find it? My son says mail is delivered every day (to them). He made me think that their mail only goes out on Sunday nights/ Monday morning. So far, I am believing that is true. I have received mail on Thursdays here. That has been the only day. Did you find the FB group? One is sponsored by NavyDep and the other is sponsored by Bootcamp 101. I'm gonnna hang around about 20 minutes to see you answer back.
This week should be live firearms and pictures. I don't think I said that. If you are facebook, there is a PIR group specifically for ours. Let me know if you need or want help finding it. I will be happy to help. My son doesn't always give me the info, but I glean a lot from those pages.;)
I am so sorry! I am just now seeing this! I am not very good at navigating this site. Good morning! Did your son leave from Louisville or Cincinnati? Mine left from Louisville. Small world! From what I have gathered, there are about 4 groups that haven't had a phone call. My son will be moving on to Pensacola for A School. I wish your son well. I'll be sure and check back here. I apologize. We will get through this together!!!!
Kmr5+1 - That is understandable. Thank you for your perspective, it helps me to understand why sometimes we have moms who don't always chime in as often. I knew you were having some issues with navigating the site and I wanted to make sure you were doing well. I didn't actually find out about N4M until the week before my son's PIR. In some ways, I think it was better for me that way, because I did not have anyone to compare to. I had what the recruiters told me, the RTC website (which was not updated at that time) and one friend at church whose son is Nat'l Guard and was currently deployed at that time. She understood what I was going through and seemed to always know the right things to say to me. Thanks for your reply on the main chat!! That is helpful.
Kmr5+1 - I have been thinking about you and I see that you posted on NavyMom1013's discussion. I am so glad that you received the form letter and also some personal mail. That is not always the case, so feel fortunate. I hope things are going well otherwise!
Hi I just saw your comment on the chat page - sorry I have not been able to be on my computer much today. Have you figured out how to post in the main comment section of the BC Mom group? Some of the moms were just posting today or so that there may be some delays, I think of some divisions moving over to RTC from ROM - restriction of movement. You will not receive a Form letter until all things are cleared, including physical. During these times it is hard to know.
