Ldcga2 - I understand not being on social media much. I am on here a lot just to help out but I am not on other social media. I don't want to burst your bubble, but there is no guarantee that your SR will call you when he leaves ROM for BC. My understanding is that their phone should already be boxed up and they won't have access to the pay phone unless it is granted to them. That said, with the holidays coming up the RDCs might make an extra effort if the division is doing well to get them in to make a call. But those will be from a pay phone.
I see you accepted my friend request. I will send you a short PM so you know how that works.
Ldcga2 - I saw your post in the main room chat. I am glad that LeAnn was able to reply to you. I don't know how much you are following or posting in the main BC Mom group (I am playing catch up myself from yesterday) but there are other moms active in the group whose sailors went through second rounds of ROM as well. I don't know if we had any report being positive but I know your Momma heart just wants to be able to take care of him and you are concerned with him being honest. It is hard to not be able to go take care of them. The young people are doing well with the virus. My son's ship has had people get sick on it. I have been sick and tested positive and I am older.
Please don't hesitate to friend me or ask any questions and know you are not alone. Other moms are or have gone through similar things with their SRs and sailors as well.
Good Morning Ldcga2 - I watch for all of our new BC Mom group members so that I can welcome you here on your page. I noticed you had an early morning chat with Partyofseven. The main room chat doesn't always get a lot of attention, unless someone is actually online and notices it. So, be sure to click on the BC Mom group to the left here, and go to our main group page. Scroll past all of the information, past the discussions and find the comment wall that is like this one. Please come introduce yourself there to all of the BC Mom members. That is where we share most of our daily messages and the best place to post a question or concern. We all log into the site as we are able to, so someone will likely respond to you comment, but if not, please don't hesitate to post again.
I am assuming your loved one just recently left for BC and we have information that we repost on a regular basis in that group. We also have moms who have been through this process recently or are currently going through it as well as those of us who have sailors out in the fleet. We are here to walk alongside you in your new journey as a Navy Mom.
If you are viewing this on a mobile device, versus a computer (which is much easier) be sure you have your device set for desktop mode, I think it makes it easier to scroll around the pages so you can see things better.
