No worries. We're all in this together. I was a walking train wreck for that first month. Now, we're almost done! Battlestations tomorrow, phone calls on Friday, and PIR next week- we'll be with them again before we know it. I've appreciated your friendship and support as well. It's been nice to interact with the families of the men working with my husband. It helps me feel closer to him and a lot less alone in this whole wild experience. I hope to see you at PIR or the meet and greet. :)

Thanks Lilu. Sounds like our men are doing fine. :)

Yay, Lilu! I'm so happy for you. See, you had nothing to worry about. :) I still haven't heard anything from my Hubby and I'm about ready to tear my hair out. Cross your fingers for tomorrow. Congrats, sweetie.

I think someone with a military ID has to sponsor you... I don't know if your fiancé can be your sponsor or not. Check out the lodge site that faith listed and see what you think. You can also call the number on the site to ask them about your eligibility. Good luck. Still no letter or call on my end, but ours will come soon enough. :)

it says there's eligability, it'll be the top left of the page...the one you want to stay at is the Great Lakes, IL one (go figure lol) I hope you'll be able to stay there!

I just realized that you have to have base access to stay at the lodge (maybe even the gateway.) you can still check and see though. They're definitely the more affordable options. You can google navy lodge. Good luck. :)

Stupid touch screen on my iPhone... Ignore the typos. :)

Yeah, the gateway is $10 cheaper, but I wanted the kitchen that the lodge offers, since I'm staying so long. His A school is in Great Lakes and it sounds like his orders should be accompanied, since it's greater than 6 months, so I want to work on making arrangements for our move there (paperwork for nursing license and checkmout the housing options.)

I understand you insecurities. I've been married to mine for 7 1/1 years and I'm worried about how it will change him. Keep your chin up. He loves you or we wouldn't have put a ring on your finger. Everything will work out and we should here from them soon.

It's on base, just not on the RTC side. It's so cheap, I'm staying a couple weeks.

Hi Lilu. Yeah, it's been a struggle. I don't think I've cried so much in my life. It is nice to know that I'm not the only one. :) I'm hoping we'll see a letter this week, maybe even today (wishful thinking.) Take care. If you need someone to talk to, I'll be here, still crying my eyes out.
