OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I try to get on at least once a day; but my job has me swamped right now & it will not be improving until after Jan. 1. It is nice to be able to chat with someone that is there too! :)

Yes, my son has been taking a finance class. Which I think is a great idea, he is fresh out of the house & high school. He has a good head on his shoulders, but we all know how the friends we have influence us. :) I'm thinking turkey day is pushing it too; but I'm not holding my breath either way

I was reading all your posts above and am amazed at your strength. Just know you are not truly alone. You can write pm to me or even call if you want. I am a mother of 3 sons myself. How is your pregnancy going? How old are your girls? Are they excited about a baby brother? I am looking forward to meeting you on Oct 1st.
