I'm not sure what happened with the gate pass situation. I saw where she posted yesterday offering info on what the new sailors were going through right then since she had just been through it in June, but I think by that point, everyone was afraid to engage her in conversation (me too). As Jessica said, she can take a taxi or shuttle to the base for PIR and not even need the gate pass. I agree with you...as a sailor, why is she asking US how to get on a base? Something wasn't right about that. Jessica said she had seen her post on some navy wife groups, but all yesterday. And you are totally correct. It is our responsibility not to only protect our sailors and the Navy with the info we share, but to help protect our country! When one of the moms on my son's new division site told me she could not give me the password, I totally understood that. I callled the PAO. I'm wondering if a mom eventually gave it to her by private message, feeling sorry for her? I just don't know. But glad she seems to be off here....for now. Have a great weekend!

Don't worry....Jessica and I will handle. I appreciate your concern about giving the password out...I have the same concerns. Concentrate on the phone call!
YAH!

No, I haven't made my airline reservations yet. We're not near St. Pete - but if the price is right! Actually from Orlando to Chicago it looks like I can get tickets for around $100 each way. BUT I now want to fly back into Pensacola and have my other kids meet us there on Sat. and drive home Sun. That's where I am having trouble. I can only find two flights and they are too early on the 6th. I was looking at Southwest because they let you change your ticket (with everyone warning us to get refundable tickets) but they don't fly into Pensacola - I guess. So as you can see - I haven't made any final decision yet except for the hotel in GL. And it is getting so close...
