Hey Nancy,
I did not get the message from Sunday, but if you want just talk to me through my e-mail. I think that would be easier...

Thanks,

Good morning, Jimmy's Mom,
Sorry I haven't gotten back to you...it's been a busy week. I did keep in touch with one mom in particular and you'll never believe it, but her son is Bob and he was Jimmy's partner that accidently hit Jimmy's ear. Bob is such a good guy. I know he feels terrible about it. Bob helped Parker with the academic testing in dive prep alot and Parker and Bob were partners in "pool week" in dive prep, also. Great guy!!!
I spoke with my son, Parker last evening. Another surprise...Jimmy was one of Parker's roommates in Dive Prep!! Parker got rolled back in PCB, not Dive Prep, about 3 weeks into Dive school, because he was unable to go down to the required 60 feet in the chamber. His ear drum was bulging. They put him on medication and he was able to pass that about 2 weeks ago. Parker had to retake all the night classes, but scored higher this time. He was very disappointed about the delay. We reminded him God has a reason for everything and it would be fine. He seems to be good now.
I asked Bob's mom about the DVD. They have one, but she says don't bother getting one because the camera stayed at the end of the auditorium where they entered the entire time, so you can't see Div. 810.
It seems longer that 6 months since the boys left us!! They have certainly experienced a great deal in that short time. And yes, I've said many times, this past Valentine's Day was a hard one for us. We have 3 children, one 24 year old son (who is happily married with one 4 year old precious son) and a 15 year old beautiful daughter, and then Parker, who will turn 20 on this Labor Day. We plan to go back down to PCB next weekend for his birthday if "Isaac" doesn't change our plans. We have very little military background in our family, so all this was new to us. We are so proud of him.
Niagara Falls!!! Wow, I've always wanted to see that.... My daughter, Currie and I, visited New York in March of 2011 with her Merit class from school. I'm glad we did it, even though we traveled via bus and it took 20 hours!!!
Have a blessed day....

Hello,
My son graduated boot camp on 4-13-2012. He completed the dive prep in Great Lakes in June and is now in Panama City Beach, FL, for Dive School. I haven't been on this site much since boot camp graduation.
I don't think we got a DVD of graduation. I took a video recorder and did my own.
I'll be happy to talk with you about dive school. We have been to the base two times to see our son, Parker.
Pam
