OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

I work in a hospital as a respiratory therapist. I have only 1 child. Now he will be a sailor. Funny his new bride comes from a career Navy family. She knows what it like to be a child in the military but none of the benefits to the family. She is learning now. LOL! I believe she will see the importance of Rich joining the Navy to her in the future.

I went to this Moroccan restaurant a few years again and our entire family feel in love with the food. The style of eating is at a slow leisurely place. The lamps I purchased are brass with glass insert. It opens like a bird cage to insert the candle. It is when I was looking for candle holders they were so expensive. The Moroccan lamps had a class look to them on a table. I later will be hanging them up. Check it out on Amazon. I saw the ones I bought are still listed for $.89. I bought the teal ones, the red one ( a little more expensive $1.19 LOL and a green on for under $5.00. I bought the flicking tea lights which are battery operated so I wont have to worry if I forget to turn them off. Which I did the other day. It uses watch batteries as a replacement. I don't care because I bought 12 little lights. I hope you like them as I do with mine.
