OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Cookie and Patrick's Mom.

We have a number of Christian Faith based groups.  Here are two of them.

Good luck to both your recruits and please thank them for us. My son finished his commitment to the Navy last year and is now a civilian.  I will be backing off from Navy for Moms and limiting my involvement to my local San Francisco Bay area group and maintaining the Survival Guide for new members (have you seen this?). We'll need new members to carry on the tradition.

Hello Patrick's mom, read your comments about the Lord taking care of Patrick.  Wanted to say, how I completley agree and despite what anyone thinks, says, or does, God is always faithful and hears our prayers.  Hugs in the Lord.

There is not a group for the USS Bremerton. Few groups associated with subs. You should join the Sub Moms group and the Hawaii group. In addition, be sure your son puts submits your contact info to the ships ombudsman. My son's sub had a closed group on Facebook. You have to ask the ombudsman to approve your request to join the group.

Underlined are clickable links. Good luck.

hello Patrick's Mom... I am very interested in knowing what happened with your son so maybe I can get a real feel of what my son is really up against and it sounds like there really might be a light at the end of the tunnel??
