OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Regina Elizabeth, wnted to welcome you to the AECF group. Did your hubby just graduate from boot camp?? Does he know which rate he will be...ET or FC? both are great rates with lots of school and you can join him there if you want. There is a great thread within the groups for the wives that you can learn more about life at GL, their jobs, schools, etc....don't hestiate to ask questions. Our son is an FC>

AWESOME! So you WILL be in GL the same time we will. Vince told me that there's a hold of 2 - 5 months for their A-school. I almost broke down crying. I'm pretty sure that the Navy won't pay for the spouses to move there until the guys are in phase 2 of A-school... and we can't pay for it right now so I'm just going to have to wait.

You probably haven't heard anything new about John, huh? In Vince's last letter he said they should get another phone call soon. He also said something about only like 2 & half weeks left. Hopefully John's knees will hold out just a little while longer. I'll write Vince & ask him to keep an eye out for John.
