I joined the 05-14 Facebook group and have looked so. Dry carefully through both classes. I have found out a lot from there but why would he not be excited to come home for the holidays because I found out about that on the Facebook page. The opportunity is here for us to see each other but I just don't even know which we he has and what the deal is. I keep writing letters but now am not even sure he is getting them. I have emailed his usually email and also no reply. I am really trying to make this all better so I don't feel so bummed. I know he is working hard and I am so proud of him for this and love him dearly. Just need a little bone thrown my way :) please if you think of anything else I would appreciate your thoughts, advice, and support. I am glad and blessed to have met some nice people on here already. I hope we can stay in touch!

Yes his class is 05-14, at least that's what I know he told me when he made his "I have arrived" call and it's what I write on his letters. He got my letters from what he told me but I haven't got a phone call since the arrival one. I have gotten 2 letters and the last one was written on oct 27 but did not share much of anything other than talk about our wedding plans I shared with him and telling me the ship he wanted to put in for. How can I really reach him to share with me? I have not gotten a letter since and still no phone calls. I know he has been off base because of purchases he has made but even hasn't shared he got the Liberty with me. I'm very confused? Is this normal?

HI Rhonda!  I was told you might be able to help me.....

My fiancé left for OTCN in September and I was curious because I know it was brought to his attention by his recruiter, his weight.  He worked hard before he left, but I am not sure it was enough.  What happens if they are not the right weight?  He told me they have like a "fat camp."  Do they and how long would that be?  Would it also mean he doesn't graduation or continue with the class he was assigned?

Anything information would be greatly appreciated and helpful.  I am new to this whole process and haven't gotten much from my fiancé.

Thanks :)
