there's one big problem and that is that it doesnt have a legit fridge. jsut a mini fridge. but there's a grocery store across the parking lot that sells meat real cheap. and its good.

Sam, i live about 5 minutes from base in a condo complex. its not in an absolutely horrible neighborhood, and its really close to everything. the rent ranges here from 1095 to 1150, and the only utilities you pay are cable/internet and electricity. there's a lot of other navy families. it has a pool, jacuzzi, laundry, mailroom, and fitness center. how big is your dog? i'm not sure about the rules on pets. its completely furnished 1 bedroom.

or check out ball park place apartments. about 20 minutes from base, if that. next to public transportation. right next to petco park downtown. extremely cheap rent. i think for unfurnished it was 895 a month. you only had to pay electricity, cable/internet also. furnished was only about 100 more.
