My son left for bootcamp earlier this month. I received his returned articles, one letter but no call on Christmas or his birthday. Is this normal? Or am I just being a mom?

We went to dinner at Trattoria-Pomigliano. The food was great! (Very rich). It's a small cozy Italian restaurant in Libertyville, about a 15 min drive. Parking is a little tough but well worth it. Best of all Nick the owner came out and congratulated our new sailor. He also treated our son to his meal! A 16oz T-bone, that was quickly consumed.

Hey Shelly! Sorry I haven't been on this site lately. I'm going to PIR 2/17. I will be traveling with my sons dad and his step mom and one of his cousins. I can't take my other boys with me because the cost is so much to travel. I've gotten a few letters and Hunter has been struggling with his running. I hope it is better by now. I hope to hear from him tomorrow, We have receive one phone call. It was great to hear his voice. How are you holding up?
