OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Follow this link for OPSEC Guidelines:

Hi Taisha,

You're welcome! And welcome to N4M. Huge Congrats on your son James applying to USNA! Of course, I'm partial but I think it's one of the finest colleges in America! LOL Thank you so much for writing and letting me know that the N4M ad that I appeared in led you've found a great place for sharing, getting info and venting to other moms like yourself.

Well, it's late and I just got home from a going away celebration on a young woman I met on here that lives in my area. I was very shocked and impressed that she treated us to dinner and it was HER party!! So you see I have been richly blessed by the relationships made on this website. I believe you will be too. If you have ANY questions feel free to ask and I will do my best to answer them or point you in the right direction to get an answer. BTW, I noticed you have joined a few groups, please be sure to check out Annapolis group as well. It is full of moms of mids and parents of graduates... like myself. blesssings, Sherry
