Hi Terri:
I received a 5 min phone call today from my son. He was upbeat and had a lot to say in 5 min. He talked about test scores, inspection scores, the food (says its pretty good), and wisdom teeth. I received the call around 4:00 California time. It was so good to hear his voice. I did not detect any signs of stress or home sickness. Thank God. I did have a brief scare. He said he was scheduled to have his wisdoms pulled today. He remembers them putting t he IV in his arm and the next thing he awoke with medical staff around him in the hospital. He said they told him he had a heart condition. He said after further testing he did not have a heart condition and he was fine. They are rescheduling his wisdom pulling. My heart sank hearing this. I am thankful he is fine, but I would like to know what happen. He said they were suppose to get an hour phone call, but someone got in trouble. He has been getting my letters and said he wrote me on Sunday. Today is Thursday and no letter yet. Maybe by tomorrow or Saturday. So keep writing. They are receiving our letters
She left Monday 8.22.11. She called me from the airport & the scripted call came around 10:30ish Monday night. Anxious to hear from her.
I know she's OK, but still worry. LOL
