OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Kathy,

I asked my son if he knew Shaun,  I haven't received an answer back.   I am guessing your son know's my son - he is the mailman.  I dont know if they call him AJ or Alexander.

Yes I did, thanks! I was glad to get it. What is your son's first name and where are you from? I will ask my son if he knows him. :) My son's name is Jude and we are from Philadelphia.

Hey there Kathy, do you think it's because you live in il? Maybe they only allow calls for out of staters? I think that's terrible but maybe that's why! I think you're better off anyway, my son sounded robotic and down. I can't get the call out of my head. I'm dying to hear his voice sound normal and upbeat again! Keep me posted....let us all know when you get that first letter and/or call. I'll be posting when I get mine! Hang in there!
