Thank You And The Same To You.
I did text his recruiter. Just received a call back from him. I have the address. I will message you the ship and division # to see if your son is in the same! Hope you get your address soon!
BTW - to answer your question - no address yet. His recruiter told his Dad on Sunday morning that we should have it no later than today. Will text the recruiter and see what he says. I'll let you know!
Well, I am doing OK. I have lots of support. My biggest concern (today) is graduation (PIR). I read last night that each recruit can only have 4 people on the access list. We have parents(2), step-parents(2), and brother(1) which is 5. Someone may not be able to go. That's a big bummer as both step parents don't have any other kids and have been with him as parents for the past 9-10 years. I'm sure it will all work out, though. One of the steps will likely take the decision out of Jesse's hands and volunteer to stay back at the motel. I am coping well other than that. Staying busy is the key, I think. Everyone at work was great. We've all been through this with a co-worker a few months ago who said good bye to his son as he joined the Air Force. I have a huge support system of people here. I hope you do as well. When I start really cleaning up his room, now that may be a different story. I'll keep you posted! Until then, I'm praying blessings of peace to be in your heart. I stand on Psalm 121 for my family. Especially vs 7 & 8. Have a great day Alene!
Hey Alene, I'm Monica. Nice to meet you. I guess our sons are together at boot camp. How are you doing? I'm writing every day and keeping them numbered in an envelope so he can read them in order when he is able to receive mail. I did love hearing Jesse's voice - even for that 15 seconds. I'm loving this site. I hope to meet a few moms who have a recruit in the same class (division - not sure really what to even call it!). Have you met any others. I'll be praying for you and your son! They will be standing tall and strong and more handsome than ever in just a few weeks. Here for you.
Monica
